We can help you explore and set up different ways to give to your church or other favorite ministries. Whether you want to give personal possessions, cash, real estate, or stock or name a ministry as a beneficiary of your life insurance, we can help.

Did you know you can make gifts that not only give you a tax break but also can provide income for you or someone else you name? There are ways to help provide income to your church right but keep the asset to give to your spouse or children later on.

The world of estate planning and planned giving can be confusing. Most people know about a will, but many do not know the many different ways to invest in the Lord's work in the islands. We are here to help people learn.

We invite you to explore our website. If at any time, you want to speak with our staff, contact us at 808-943-1111 or and we will set up an appointment.

Start here to determine which method of giving would best suit your needs.

Personal possessions

I would like to give now

Before donating personal possessions, check to see if the ministry accepts what you want to give. You should also make clear how you want the possession to be used. For example, can the ministry sell the gift or give it to someone else?

I want to receive part of the income from a gift to my ministry

I would like to give to my ministry of choice and receive part of the income made from that gift. The Hawaii Baptist Foundation will help to invest my gift and distribute a percent of that income back to the donor. Upon the donor's death, the gift will be given to the specified ministry. This gift will benefit from income tax savings.

The donor benefits by being able to make a gift to a ministry, reduce taxes, and increase income.  The ministry benefits by gaining full use of the gift after the income payments to the donor or their designee are over.
